The Medieval Money of the king’s court is opening. This means it’s time for worthy people to put on their superior armor and travel this enchanting kingdom with medieval money. Start the bonus game and aim your bow for the possibility of one of the 4 bonus goals.
Bring the money with Money Bas Picker, play with the Righteous Free Spins bonus. Choose your fortune with the spell selector or face the dragon for your treasure in the Dragon Path bonus. Get over 4 and you’re sure to be the richest in the country. As you can see from all the above, this is a game that should be about bonus properties.
Because in the classic IGT trend it really has them inside. Loaded with candy and a bit of a cliché theme, Medieval Money seeks to make a mark for IGT games. These specials are precisely superior, so the big question is.
Can this modern game live up to such an ambition?
There’s only one way to find out, so we suggest you read on!
Medieval Money is fed by IGT and has 5 reels and 20 payment lines. The game is only usable on desktop gadgets (i.e. PCs or laptops). And can be played from as little as 20 cents up to a high of 600 pounds per spin. With a clear medieval theme, you dress up in your best shiny armor to go in search of wealth. And distraction throughout the kingdom.
Aesthetically, it has cartoon-style graphics with jester hats, targets, kings, queens, princesses, and knights on the reels. The most valuable symbol is the Medieval Money logo. That rewards you with 1,000 times your bet on the line if you achieve 5 on a payline. The Bonus symbol is the purpose with 3 of them anywhere on the 3 middle reels activating the Arcade Picker. Here you choose 1 of 9 targets to reveal a bonus property: Money Bag Collector feature – you can select 1 of 3 money bags to reveal a cash prize ranging from 2 to 50 times your total bet.
The purpose of archery is to disperse the bonuses here. And you need to arrive 3 anywhere in the same spin to fire up the Archery Collection bonus game. You will select 1 of the 9 targets, and this gives you 1 of 4 lucky bonus properties. You have the Money Bags Picker. Where you can select 1 out of 3 money bags to reveal a cash prize between 2x and 50x your stake.
Then you have the Spell Picker where a Wizard gives you 5 bottles of mystery spells. Each bottle pays between 2x and 100x, and you can deny the bottles you don’t like up to 5 times. There is also the Path of the Dragon bonus game. Where a bonus wheelsets how many steps you move along the path. You can move 1, 2, or 3 steps at a time, but if the wheel falls on your skull, the option ends. The further you go, the higher your winnings will be.
And you will have the chance to win between 3 and 200 times your bet on this property. The huge prize is won when you reach the Dragon Treasure. Finally, you have the bonus round of the joust. You’ll get 7 free spins here, and you’ll benefit from the Wild Righteous Spread option. When the Red and Blue Knight’s Helmet savages arrive in the same line. You will see the two knights compete on wooden horses. The winner will be drawn by luck. And the symbols of the same color in the line between the two savages will become savages as well.
You will receive 7 free spins with the Wild Board spreading capability. It is played when the red and blue symbols on the Knight’s Helmet are displayed in the same row. Then they will compete for a lucky winner. If the blue knight is victorious, all blue symbols in the row between the Helmet symbols are transformed into savages.
If the red knight wins, all the red symbols become wild. What you expect is for the 2 savages to appear on reels 1 and 5! The “Spell Picker” feature sees a wizard giving out 5 bottles of mystery spells. Worth between 2 and 100 times your total bet. You can choose to accept or deny the offer presented by the magician. Up to 5 promotions will be made, so be sure to select well. Anything over 25 times your bet is decent in my view.
Finally, you have the Dragon Path Bonus capability, where you spin the wheel: The number of spaces (1, 2, or 3) that the wheel suggests will move you along the path.
If the wheel falls on a skull, the aspect ends.
If you reach or surpass the Dragon’s treasure, you’ll win 200 times your bet.
All in all, Medieval Money is an entertaining slot with the potential to win big.
The Free Spin Bonus option.
Is the most lucrative since finding a line of savages on a few free spins can lead to huge payouts.
We also found that the Path of the Dragon Bonus is rewarding since I have won 200 times my bet a few times. Visually, the game doesn’t look like something you take quite seriously. The animations are very fun, and the 3 bonus games are very entertaining. However, you can’t win that much in the Pick’em bonus game or the bonus walk. And finding the free spins is not that simple thanks to all the “competition” properties. You can bet between 20p and £6 per spin here, which is a very tight betting range. What is really relevant is the wild jousting option, which only happens throughout the bonus round.
This game provides a very casual medieval distraction. And we were fortunate enough to fire up the bonus round in our 200 spin test session. This happens around 0:38 on the video.
But we have some base game wins before that. However, we have edited the largest part of the base game. So only the top parts are inside in the video below.
Medieval Money comes with cartoon images and fun animations. Medium to high volatility is nothing to joke about, and neither is the higher profit potential of 25,000,000 coins. The property you really want here is the Free Spin Board. We had a great time in our 200 spin test sessions, and this somewhat exceptional game is worth a try.
Pros
– 3 different bonus games
– Bonus round with wild jousting
– Medium to high volatility and potential of £25 million
Cons
