Hit It Big

If you’re a fan of retro game shows, then Hit It Big is definitely a slot you want to try out. It’s got a classic feel to it, with quite a unique take on the design. The game comes from Elk Studios, a company that has established a positive reputation for itself in the igaming industry. Our review will dive deeper into important elements, like the RTP, volatility, design, and bonuses that you can expect while playing Hit It Bi.

About Hit It Big Slot

In Hit It Big, you get a chance to become a contestant on a retro game show and play for a chance to win big. The game’s design is really good, with detailed illustrations and several blocks that can light up as you spin the reels. This slot does come with high volatility, which is something you should never overlook. Its RTP is good, though, as it’s rated at 96%. The game’s multipliers can go as high as 1,000x.

Game Features and Bonuses

There are respins that you can trigger while playing Hit It Big. They are actually tied to the blocks that light up at the bottom and top of the main field where symbols land. The slot also has a bonus game, where new symbols can appear on the screen, and give you a chance to trigger bigger bonuses. However, hitting the Bandit symbol in the bonus game will end the round and return you to the base game.

Game Symbols

There are actually two sets of symbols that appear in Hit It Big. Let’s start with the main ones that you’ll see on the playing field. These include four different versions of the lucky number seven, as well as three BAR symbols. The game also has a wild symbol. Apart from these, there are feature symbols that show specific bonuses on them. These included locked wilds, stacked wilds, respin, and multipliers.

How to Play

The game has a couple of unique elements when it comes to actually playing and spinning the reels. There are no options to actually change how many lines you want to stake your money on. Hover, if you click on the coin button in the lower left corner of the game’s screen, you’ll be able to choose how much you want to bet in total on the game. The bet options range from 0.2 to 100.

When you hit spin, the reels will start spinning and reveal new symbols. However, at the same time, you’ll notice a light moving through the rows above and below the playing field. If the light lands on any of these, then you get the bonus tied to the specific blocks. If you find this all a bit confusing, try to play a demo of the slot first.

Conclusion

Hit It Big takes you back to the ’70s and ’80s, when live game shows were very popular. The game’s high volatility is something to be wary of, but it also lets you play for up to 1,000 times your bet. The RTP in the game is also good, ranking at average.
