Blazing Star

Whether you’ve been playing slots for years already, or you’re just getting started and trying to dip your feet into these pools of gold, one thing that you have likely come across is fruit slots. These are the classics and actually some of the first symbols that were used when slots were initially introduced. There are a lot, and in this review, our focus is on Blazing Star. Let’s consider the volatility, what bonuses the game has to offer, and the return-to-play rating.

About Blazing Star Slot

Blazing Star is one of those games that keep true to the original slots that were developed back in the 1800s – it brings us the classic fruits that we’ve seen in so many slots. However, the game doesn’t include the lucky seven.

This slot features an RTP of 96%. However, according to the manufacturer, this is a theoretical number that they provide, and they expect it to be around 96%. It also means that the RTP is likely going to be variable in the game.

This is a five-reel game that spans three rows. There are five win lines, and they are fixed.

Game Features and Bonuses

In this slot, you’re given access to a card gamble function. While it’s a really great way to boost your winnings, it does come with a risk. There’s a 50-50 chance to win or lose. That’s why you should be careful when it comes to deciding whether or not to take an actual gamble. If you lose the gamble, you’ll lose the entire win that you score during a spin.

Game Symbols

Blazing Star is a slot that focuses on the classic fruit theme. That’s why you’ll see oranges, lemons, cherries, grapes, watermelons, and plums in the game. However, it also brings the “Blazing Star” symbol into the mix, which is an icon that can pay out massive amounts if you manage to match five of them on a payline. You should pay attention to what value comes with each of the symbols – this is something you can see by clicking the menu button and then the paytable button (look for a button that looks like a table layout).

How to Play

Merkur is well-known for keeping things simple in the slots they design. The same can be said for Blazing Star. The game has a fixed payline system, so all you need to do is simply set the bet size. There are fixed bet options available, so you have to choose among them. Then, click spin, and you’re in the game. Watch as the symbols start to appear to see if you have made matches on any of the fixed paylines.

Conclusion

Blazing Star comes from a company that has been developing casino games for over five decades. The game might not have the best graphics, but it does give you access to bonuses, such as the ability to win up to 100 free spins. It has a decent RTP and medium volatility, but the max win is a bit low compared to other options.
