Sun of Egypt

There are a couple of themes that are common when you take a look at modern-day slots, but a lot of these games tend to focus on mythology. That’s something that you’ll quickly come to see in Sun of Egypt, an Egyptian-themed slot from 3 Oaks Gaming. This is actually a game that started an entire series of slots from this developer, so let’s see what the original one had to offer. We’ll be looking at bonuses, RTP, and the volatility that the slot provides.

About Sun of Egypt Slot

Sun of Egypt is a game that was created as part of a collaboration between BNG and 3 Oaks Gaming. The game itself has a modern design with detailed illustrations and custom symbols. There’s background music that also matches the Egyptian theme of the slot.

It’s a medium-to-high volatility slot with a return-to-player rate of 95%. While the volatility isn’t too high, the RTP is lower than the average line that we generally prefer.

Game Features and Bonuses

You can get eight free spins in the Sun of Egypt. To score these free spins, you need to get three of the scatter symbols to land.

When there are three scatters on the board, two things will happen. First, the game pays back the amount you decided to bet. So, if you staked $1, you get your $1 back. Then, you enter the bonus round, where you can spin the reels eight times without risking actual money.

Game Symbols

If you want to take a quick look at the symbols that can appear in Sun of Egypt, then you should click on the menu button. It’s the top button on the control panel. The game has several Egyptian markings that you can land, as well as A, K, Q, and J. It doesn’t have any number symbols. There’s a scatter and a wild as well.

How to Play

Playing Sun of Egypt is actually really simple. You just need to set your bet and click on the spin button. Something to keep in mind is that the game has fixed paylines, so you basically just have to decide how much you want to stake in total. At the bottom right side of the screen, there’s a button with a coin symbol on it. Click on this button to bring up a menu where you can select your bet size. It starts at 0.25 and goes up to 80. You can either use the autoplay function, click on the spin button, or hold it – depending on how you prefer to play.

There’s a demo version of the game that you can play on 3 Oaks Gaming’s website. BNG also worked on the game, and their website has another demo version that you can try out.

Conclusion

Sun of Egypt is the original in the series from 3 Oaks Gaming and features a variety of ways to win. The grand prize in the slot is 1,000x, and it gives you a chance to score some free spins. There’s also a bonus game that you can trigger for bigger wins.
