Sharky

Modern slots tend to simplify the process of playing these casino games, but they often lack the ability to give you an authentic experience. That’s because these games tend to only show you the board layout with a small control panel. However, there are some games that try to simulate the experience you get at a land-based casino, and in this review, we look at Sharky. The slot became popular at physical locations and was later brought to the World Wide Web. Let’s see what the game offers, how much you can win, and look at the symbols you can match.

About Sharky Slot

Sharky is a traditional slot game that focuses on bringing a land-based casino to your living room. The board in this game features an outline that resembles a real slot cabinet, and even the buttons at the bottom of the screen were made to resemble the real thing.

Greentube, a company by Novomatic, is the studio that developed Sharky. The game has nine paylines that are adjustable and come with a multiplier. There are five reels. Sharky has an RTP of 95.53% and an average volatility rating (medium).

Game Features and Bonuses

Sharky comes with both scatters and wilds. The wild symbols help to complete or extend existing matches on the board, depending on where they land. If you manage to land three scatters, even if they don’t match up next to each other, the game is going to give you a couple of free spins. A higher number of scatters that land on the board equals more free spins in your account.

Game Symbols

To get an overview of the symbols in Sharky, you can click on the “Paytable” button, located at the bottom of the game screen. This button opens up a popup that displays all of the symbols you can match while playing Sharky.

How to Play

If you’ve never played at a land-based casino before, then you may feel a little overwhelmed when you launch Sharky for the first time. However, it’s actually quite simple, and we’ll walk you through the necessary steps.

First of all, look at the buttons at the bottom of the game screen. There is a series of buttons with a gray background – these adjust the paylines that you bet on. The red button is used to make adjustments to your bet per line, and the large button with a black strip allows you to spin the reel.

While Novomatic does offer demos of over 400 games that they developed, they do not seem to have a Sharky free play option on their slot game page. You can still find suitable demo modes on a couple of third-party sites.

Conclusion

With a jackpot that can reach up to 10,000, Sharky gives you plenty of chances to win big. The game does, however, have a lower-than-average RTP and a medium volatility. It does the job of simulating a real casino pretty well, but those who are used to modern options might struggle to get the hang of the game.
